I am a middle-aged woman with a husband, four cats, two grown sons, and three grandchildren. I work in local government. I’m an Oregonian, having lived here from age 4 to 18, and after a hiatus in Washington, DC and overseas in the Middle East and Africa, I returned to Portland, my favorite city, at 38 and have been here ever since. Glad to be back in the Pacific NW, though sometimes my heart aches for the Mediterranean and North Africa.
